Default SLP Ram Air

I was just given an SLP Ram Air by a friend of mine. I already have the free ram air, a lid and a K&N filter. Is it worth the install? I was told that he noticed a difference and it's well worth the time. Any suggestions/opinions? Thanks in advance for any info.

Thanks. That's what I was worried about. Sucking up rain water or something like that.
