Default Rear Shock nuts

THe two top nuts on the rear shocks- does it matter which is on top of the other? I've got the thicker nut on bottom and the thinner nut on top- is this right?

My shocks only have one nut apiece. But they're Nylocks.
I would but the fat one below, just so you have room for
the thickness of your open-end wrench to clear, and use
the skinny for the "jam nut".

Yep, the thick one takes the load, and the thin one just sits on top to lock it in place.
