Default PLEASE READ! (Funny)

Hey everyone, I and a couple friends decided it was time to mod my friends "Daily Driver" car (1991 Honda Civic LX).

A friend of mine owns a shop and I do a lil work here and there for them. So we bring the Honda over there for a new head gasket. We finish that up and are bored. We start looking for stuff to do. We finally get some ideas... "Lets make fun of the ricers"

We then gather some stuff laying around the shop...

We gathered..

2 Oil pans
K&N Filter
Steel piping (about 3 inch diameter)
Some black spray paint
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST....
4' by 6' Sprint car wing.

Well just think what we could do with this stuff.

Well let me tell ya...

First we cut the oil pans to custom fit the hood for "ram air" and then we tac welded them on to the hood. We then painted over them with black spray paint and made "racing stripes". (This "Ram Air" isnt functional at the moment but will be.)

We the cut the 3 inch piping of steel into a smaller section and connected the K&N filter up for a nice induction kit (It sucks the ait GOOD for a 91 honda)

Then were thinking what to do with the sprint car wing.
We think and think and think some more... BAM! Someone says "Lets just weld some brackets on the hood and then connect it all.

We make 4 brackets and weld them to the hood and with that being done we connect the wing and tighten everything up. (I took about 13 pics today and should be developed later today.)

Car looks HILARIOUS.

We took it for a ride and tried out the "aerodynamics" and it passed. Took left hand turns like HOLY **** awsome. and the right hand turns were average. The down force was sweet... Went over VERY hilly roads at faster speeds than 80mph. It was a great time and my car will be staying like this for awhile.

We are going to make some more stupid funny mods and if you have any suggestions let me know. I hope to get some pics posted soon. Hope u all enoyed the story.

By the way.... We plan on taking it to the track and to a couple local places like Taco Bell and McDonalds. (local ricer hangouts) and show it off... HAHA

Hope u enjoyed once again,
John Melamed (This is a post from a friend of mine, his name is Adam Fisher.)

Me and a friend did the same type of thing to and 80's somethin cavalier. We put a huge *** wing on it, and an actual coffee can on the muffler. We took it one step further when we welded an old rusty grill guard, for a chevy truck that we found a junk yard, to the front. It was hilarious. We used it and another friends **** car to play "tag". Those cars got beat to hell sooo fast. tons of fun though!

Me and some friends "modified" this '89 Pontiac Le Mans GSE. They're not on in the pics below, but we took some gutters, painted them yellow, and tacked them on as side skirts/bodykit. Funny thing is, they didn't look too bad! At the bottom of this post is a vid of the car with the sideskirts on. Give your opinions on if you think the wing just wasn't tall enough.

Here's a video of "Uncle Ben" powerbraking. (Here you can see our "sideskirts" from the gutters and the super-fast NASCAR-style stickers)

SWEET ***!!! Ya we have some bigger plans for it too. Were going to take a park bench or something along those extreme matters and use it as our rear spoiler. Plan on doing a killer paint job. We are going to melt records into the shape of a ***** and a vagina (2 each) and make spreewells (spinners) out of them. We are taking ait duct vent and making dual exhaust out of it. Its going to be hilarious. Should take us a long time to do this all but when its all done ill bring this post alive. Keep passing this post to all your buddies. And let me get some feedback.

Thanks,
John Melamed
