6.0 Spark plugs
Hey guys, I'm new here. Just got a 2000 z28 with a 6.0/Lq9 in it.
Motor wise, its PRC heads, bullet cam, Texas speed forged bottom end.
It runs really well, the guy I got it off of said it could use plugs soon. He said he had been using NGK 56. I can't seem to find that plug, maybe there discontinued? Looking for some other ideas on what plugs to run, if those aren't available?
Thanks.

LS Engine Spark Plug Tech
Hi Dogz, I would use a greater SPG (.050"+) if possible.
My L92 came with a .060" SPG and ran fine.
GM LS started with a .065" SPG but changed to a lower "tech" gap of .045" because of a rough Idle.
The Spark Plug Gap can effect fuel consumption, too small = more fuel used.
A larger SPG will make more HP when the Coil Dwell settings are correct AND when the fitted coil has the ability to fire.
