So, I have a single turbo 2001 Corvette. I changed the oil today and it took 7.5 quarts to be in the operating range on the dipstick. The manual calls for 6 quarts, but says you can run 7 if the car is driven hard. I guess it’s possible, I have the wrong dipstick. Is there any way to tell if it’s overfilled besides the dipstick? Am I risking damage by not draining some?
