Newbie with a oil fault Hi I've just joined up to see if any of you guys can help me out.
I have a 04 monaro that has developed a fault since I fit a oil pressure gauge and did a oil change.
basically when I start the car from cold it flashes the check oil light for a second or two then goes away.
then once the oil starts to get to temp it flashes the same fault every time I take the revs past 2k. I've changed the pressure sensor, tried running the old oil filter again, the oil in it is 10-40 castrol magnatec.
also oil pressure seems good, it's 40psi on idle and goes above 60 when revs are increased.
any help would be awesome as I'm pulling my hair out right now.
