Default Best Performance for LS1

Finally started to consider adding more ponies to the ls1. Was curious on every ones thoughts. Some one told me turbo, someone said supercharger, and another talked to me about procharger. Its a WS6 and pretty much stock.

everybody go have opinions on this. Its kinda like asking guys what color do they like. Some like blue some like red, etc. Nitrous go be the cheapest route in my opinion. Also a good procharger go cost you 6500 dollars or better.

Budget will be around 8k. Just looking for something to give me more power on the streets. not trying to drag race anyone. just want that power in my back pocket just incase needed.

With an 8k budget I'd get a nice complete used Procharger or turbo setup and a better rear end

with more power you need to beef up the rest of the drive train,and suspension upgrades help get the power to the pavement. N2o is a cheaper power adder .

For $8k, you can swap the transmission and rear end. That's about it. If you don't do that now, you will be calling a tow truck later. This doesn't put more power to the road, but it will keep you on the road.
