I've had several vehicles with 5.3s and 6.0s that were basically stock and worked on a lot of them being a mechanic. I've built a lot of hotrod and drag race motors over the years but this is my first LS based motor to build. It's just going to be a mild hotrod daily driver. I'm starting with a 04 5.3 and putting it in my 89 regular cab short sport side pickup. I'm going to bump up compression a little something like 10-10.5 to 1, I'm going with a TSP 224r cam, a little head work and plan on running a carb intake with a fast ez-efi set up. My main question here is I'm wanting some input on the best intake to run I'm trying to decide between the holley mid rise single plane, edelbrock performer rpm dual plane or victor jr. What do y'all think would be the best overall?
