i ended up getting the monster clutch lt1 kit for it, I’m just waiting on my new slave cylinder which should be here today. The slave cylinder wasn’t bad but I figured I should change it along with a new rear main seal, new arp bellhousing bolts.
Its worth it to change it for sure if you change the master I would go with a stock unit with the twin disc.

I've always liked the LS2 GTO with a manual in black or blue, very nice car, strong motor.
Built in Australia, overall a higher quality compared to parts bin GM.

Good luck with the new ride OP. I'm searching around at the moment looking for a good deal on a GTO for a daily. Doesn't need to be an LS2 but of course it's preferred, LS1 still an excellent motor as well.
