Default FAST LSXR 102 With SLP Cover

The previous owner changed to a FAST intake and I have been noticing the check engine light keeps coming on. I check the code and I'm getting MAF trouble. When I open the hood I notice the clamps keep popping off and they won't close tight. Do I need to get a new lid or is this from the coupler they had to use to make it fit

the 102mm?? I have read that no intake is made for that size because they are made for the manufacturer size.

I have a 92mm FAST air intake manifold with a 92mm FAST throttle body and stock air bellows (or whatever you call them between the MAF and throttle body), so I can't comment on whatever custom work he has there for the 102mm. BUT, with the air lid, make sure it has an under bite NOT an over bite. Mine always pops the clips off if it has an over bite (top going over), but if you tuck it in (making sure all 4 tabs go in on the back) and make sure it's tucked IN in the front, NOT over, the clips should hold. This has been true for every SLP lid I've owned.
