Mystery bolt
6.0 iron block LQ4.
I did a swap 10 years ago with a new LS2, but this is my first time doing an iron block budget swap, so I’m a newb for sure!
What is the bolt for that screws into the top of the block, behind the valley cover on the passenger side? It wasn’t even finger tight. I don’t think my junkyard motor has been worked on. I just finished pressure washing this filthy beast and am starting to inspect things. Unscrewed bolt and it looks like maybe an oil gallery plug??

If I'm not mistaken that bolt holds the harness for the knock sensor and oil pressure sensor and cam position. All those are in that general vicinity, the harness may continue from there to the transmission if I remember correctly. should be a tab in the harnes that he bolt holds down.
