I have a 2004 GTO with 243 ported heads from PRC, BTR stage 3 cam, Fast 102mm lsxr intake, pacesetter LT headers, and an SLP exhaust.
my tuner said the ls1's are temperamental at idle because of the cable driven t-body. Is there a conversion to an electrical t-body?

 

You need a new tuner. There's no reason an engine would be temperamental because of a fixed mechanical linkage. He probably tunes the throttle position to overcome his inability to tune the idle characteristics the right way.
