i own a 2017 z71 5.3 v8

stock gearing

I have a 2.9 l whipple pushing 10lbs of boost on a 4.5” pulley that came with the whipple.

im not too sure about the specs of the fuel injectors

it has an 8l90 transmission


I want to drop down one size on the pulley and get to 11/12 lbs of boost. 4.25”


what are others running and seeing that is safe ? I have no internals done besides the whipple , exhaust and hp tune.

i don’t go wild and burn tires I just like to get pushed back into my seat and get to speed faster. Thanks y’all

You can max out that whipple and won't hurt the engine.
You'll just need to make sure the tune is up to par.
