SEARCH
Seriously, this question is asked as much as anything. The search button is on the bar in the top. You can advance search and change options. Even if you wanted to ask and not go by what has been posted in ALL the other threads, you should tell people what your exact goals are and how much you are looking to spend total to begin with. Do you want to carve corners? Go fast? Is it a daily driver? Weekend warrior? Track car? Auto or manual? How far do you want to end up going?

I did the SLP lid first. I read on this forum where a stock Fram filter is as good as any Holley or K&N so I didn't waste my money. Here are my first mods:
1) SLP Lid ($100)
2) Raised the Airbox about .5" ($3)
3) Throttle Body Coolant Bypass ($15)
4) Lou's Short Stick and Hurst Shift **** (6 speed, $85)
5) 160F Thermostat ($46)
6) Manual Fan Switch ($40)
7) Exhaust Cutout ($35 hardware, $25 installation)
Second tier of mods:
1) SLP High Capacity Radiator ($245, but I do live in Phoenix!)
2) Tubular Subframe Connectors ($100 hardware, $115 install)
3) AMW Oil PCV Catchcan ($85)
Third tier of mods (HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT TO SPEND!)
1) TSP 224R Cam with Patriot Gold Springs & Rollmaster double row timing chain and TSP hardened pushrods ($800)
2) Replaced manual cutout with Street-Pro Electric Cutout ($245 + $30)
3) Stainlessworks headers and catted Y pipe ($1200)
Only thing I haven't done on the list are the headers, they are on order. My car is a 2001 so it already had no EGR and the LS6 intake. These cars are fast right out of the box, but they are scary fast with headers and a cam.
Thanks,
Glenn

if your car is an A4 go with a catback and a lid or just a lid and cut out, if its an M6 make your first investment last..get a 12bolt with 373s or 410s. I say get a 12 bolt because now you can run the car to its fullest. YOU can drop it at what ever RPM you want...but is what ever you want, Congrats on the new car... .....so anyway...get what you want..
