Default No AC after coolant change

Long story short I had the heads off and put new valves etc on the car. Got it back together and filled with coolant with the heater on high (read after no need to have heat on but that’s for another thread)

anyways the compressor is kicking on. The condenser is ice cold, but changing from hot to cold does nothing.

Could this be a blend door issue? Any tips. I’m in FL and it’s HOT 🥵

Do you mean the evaporator is cold? If the evaporator is ice cold the blend door seems like the only logical reason. Double check all vacuum lines are hooked up correctly after you did the engine work

The blend doors are vacuum operated

There is a vacuum line that goes to the back of the intake that provides vacuum to the blend doors. I'd check there first since you removed the heads(took the intake off)
