New LS1 owners/buyers....

I'm 36 but in my late teens/early 20's I've owned several 2nd gen fbodies most with big block V8's. I liked the way they looked and loved the torque, torque, and more torque. 
mid to late 80's/early 90's, the 5.0 ruled, and I almost bought a new LX. Then when the 4th gen fbodies came out the LT1 began to peak my interest. I held off however, until I learned about the LS1. Continued to hold off thinking "I'm out of my muscle-car phase..." but come year 2000, I purchase my current car new. Could not be happier. It's still my daily driver in New England weather - although come winter I throw a set of blizzak's on and it drives pretty damn good for what it is.
