Question SS hood imfo needed

Im looking for a SS hood for my 00' Z does any one know where i can get one for cheap

The cheaper you pay for a ss hood the harder it will be to paint and fit. You could go with a ASCD hood but it will cost you some good cash. I went with a OEM SS hood from GM but that will cost you about $1500.00. But the body shop had no problem's painting and fitting the hood. Try ebay also they have cheap ss hood's but I don't know how good the quality and fittment of the hood is.

One of my buddies looked into getting the SS hood for his '02 Z28. the cheapest hood he could find was still around 8 or 9 hundred dallors. i cant remimber what company that was from though.

my brother just ordered a hood through ASCD..it came..about 3 days after he ordered it his was for a 93-97 Camaro though hes putting it on his Z28..it was in great condtion we couldn't see any warping or. problems..its still setting at the bodyshop though..so ill update you on fitment and all that if you want..

Look in the classifieds on here, call chevy dealership if you want an OEM hood, watch on ebay. OEM hoods are gonna cost you

You could probably track down a new OEM hood for around $1100 + shipping. MSRP is like $1300. I don't kow about aftermarket SS hoods but I would imagen a good one isn't cheap either.

1100!!! I paid 475 for mine

by the way Kurt D get some pics up of that car I want to see it. Love seeing fellow SOM camaro owners
