Silver looks great in Camaros, but your car looks badass in black but its an auto so... You can most likely get them down to 10 for that car and I would highly reccomend selling your car privately because you will get a lot more than the dealers will give you. Just be patient. Good luck

Keep away from the dealer with selling your car. You could easily get more from selling it private.

On trade-in you will probably come up on the short end of the stick. We use kelley blue book as a good starting point and adjust the price accordingly based on the condition of the vehicle. Selling it on your own is a much wiser decision. I would jump at the chance to get the camaro, that's a good price.

Kelly Blue Book... that is funny

Try NADA.... you will get much closer to what the car is actually worth. My family has been in the used car business for 18 years and that is the only appraisal book we will even touch. If you want an even better approx. tell the mileage and I will post again.

98 Pontiac Firebird- Trans Am 2D Coupe

Loan - $8700 kinda like wholesale value
Trade In - $9650 obvious
Retail - $11,700 a good starting price buying from a dealer or selling private

** Mileage Class II 82,000 - -$300 minus three hundred **

Leather and T-Tops are Standard in Trans Am so, you need to look at about $10,500 (that would be pretty fair). *Also I got that out of the SouthWest Edition so it may be off a little from where you live...

Go for it, and I agree to sell you car private, the dealer will want to trade you the car and try find a way for you to pay extra cash.

I think you'd be wasting your time and money. It's another 98, it's more or less the same car and same performance. You won't get anywhere except a 6 speed and an even lower resale value. I'd wait until something better is offered from GM and buy new.

If you can't wait, then at least get an 01/02 to make it a half-worthwhile upgrade.

Sell your car outright. I've done some deals with OL' Scuffy Eck and they will want some of your money too. They don't care how much your car books for and would more than likely offer you 8k-9k for it. They like to come out 40% ahead on every deal they make. And is he still pending criminal charges? I think he is...

As long as you are going to get a new car, hold out for a 2001 or 2002 M6. They already come with the LS6 manifold and Z06 clutch. I bought a very nice 2001 M6 for $11,900 off of Ebay. Car had 63,000 Texas miles but was in excellent condition.
