Default Heads and cam help

i wana do a set of ported heads and a cam in my 98 z28 but the oil thing that make me think is that it has 105k on the clock

compresssion and leak down test to see where you stand. i'd freshen up the bottom end though with new bearings, rings, and rod bolts while i was in there.

yea if im gona do all that im gona do a 6.0 with a set of heads and a nasty cam. i just wana rubn low 11s on motor

if you have the money i say go for it, cant be the 3500 no core price. with the appropriate h/c and bolt on package it should make some great power

SLP......... geeze do people still try there crap???
if your going built then futural 408 or some other reputable builder.

im not an SLP fan in the least (just search some of my posts ) but you have to admit that there new rotating assemblies and shortblocks are a great deal, especially if they pan out well. and especially being priced by SLP, maybe they've finally learned that gouging the consumer isnt good business

450rwhp and a damn nice tq curve shouldnt be a problem.

how cheap whould it be to build a 6.0L i dont wana go realy crazy. i already got a big block 3rd gen
