Just wanting to get opinions here. I Think im about to do a major mod on my car and Just wondering which way to go.
For me I was thinking Supercharger would be the best thing. It is still going to be a daily drivers and i was thinking as long as I Keep the boost pretty moderate it would drive much better than a h/c car.

depends on your budget, intended powerband, overall goals.
one thing i like about FI especially on a stock h/c set is you keep the same powerband but its just increase
. h/c depending on what you pick moves the powerband around, if thats what your looking for good, if it isnt you'll need to compensate with gears and a stall.
FI though has a steeper learning curve and entry cost though and with the temptation to raise the boost (you know you want to
), you'll need to think about your bottom end lasting.
but then again to get the mosts out of a h/c setup you'll need all the bolt ons, which adds to the overall cost but you aleady have most of them so your good there.
if i could start over with a stock ls1 i'd go the FI route; great power and 100% smog legal with a CARB approved blower
.

I am really leaning toward the FI because I know once I have the setup I can always get forged internals and make crazy power
Too bad my car only has like 28,000 miles. It would suck to mess up the motor with that few of miles.
However, since I moved to MSU there are several h/c cars and I can't take getting beat.

I am also going to look into that because I like the fact that during the week i can turn the boost down and back up on weekends. I think my motor will like that better.
I really havent searched much about the turbo compared to the supercharger.
I should have made the post FI vs. H/C
