1/4 time?
Car: 1999 Z28 A4
Mods, etc.:
Airbox Lid w/ K&N, SLP smooth bellows, Hooker longtubes with ORY, Electric Cutout (Right after Y), 3.73 Strange Gears, Yank ST3500 Stall converter, TransGo Shiftkit, Predator Programmer Tuned, BFG Drag Radials, Eibach PRo Kit, Bilstien Shocks, FRAM, Warbird Ram Air (Cold Air, not sealed) Hood.
I was running a 13.0 before the Stall/shiftkit/headers . What do you think I will be able to run now if the weather is perfect? What will I run in normal conditions?
Do you think that I will be able to beat this car? :
Shelby Cobra Replica with a 289 bored to 305, stroked to 347. It has 450 hp at the engine. It is much lighter than my car, but I dont think it will be as quick.
Any opinions?
I'm sorry but there is NO WAY you will be able to take the cobra barring serious driver error. The road tests with a 240hp 302ci and 3.55s on street radials ran a 13.2. He should be DEEP into the 11's, and should beat you by more than a second in the quarter mile. Think about it 400RWHP in a 2200lbs car or 345-360rwhp (probabally about what you have)in a 3400lbs car.

Where is this cobra forum you speak of?? I wouldn't think that they would be so clueless as to thinking a car with more horsepower that weighs over 1,000lbs less (good for a FULL second advantage in the quarter) will lose
FYI I don't think I could beat him in my z06 which I KNOW would kill your F-body (I beat a T/A that was spraying a 75 shot the other day).

edit: he not only weighs 1000lbs lighter but has ~100 more hp
