Odd Cruise problem in 98 A4
My wife's A4 Z28 has always had an odd problem with the cruise. Now she is complaining about it so it must be getting worse. It engages just fine but it always seems "slow" to adjust to change. The car will slow down 5 mph going up hills and take a long time to recover again. It doesn't really have any issues wit hover speeding. Does it sound like maybe a problem with the cable? How much slack should it have, or should it be taunt, when I check it? Thanks.

My 94 M5 does that. I thought it was just because it has a kajillion miles on it and it was turning into a turd.
Normally it'll drop 5mph (at the VERY most) and then kick in.
