Default Cam or Nitrous?

If you had a choice of either a NOS dry nitrous kit, about a 100 shot, or a TR224 on 112lsa camshaft, what would you pick? both are about the same price range.

The cam is a one-time cost, the nitrous is a recurring cost. That about settles the argument for me.

The mods you have are screaming for a cam...but you'll probably see more raw power from the nitrous. Just a question of what you want to do...

i agree with them cam it first. ull love the sound. i might be more noticeable that u have the cam over someone seeing the nitrous. i just love my cam and the way it sounds.

That just happens to be the cam i'm in the market for... a vote for the cam. Nitrous can come later... have some fun on motor first. BTW...have you ever heard that cam on an LS1? Go to www.LS1sounds.com and click on the "borlamouth." That video/sound clip might be the deciding factor for you; it was for me. Sounds GODLY, I belive the owner is "WildBills WS6" on here but i'm not positive.

Cam is always "on." NOS has to be used, then re-filled all the time. I'd go cam for sure! GL either way.

Build a good foundation first.. Cam the car and the power is always there.

You can always run nitrous on top of the cam.

I say do the cam first......mainly because I'm not a big fan of nitrous. Secondly, I see it as more impressive when someone can go fast whenever they want and not have to rely on the bottle all of the time.
