You'll find plenty of info searching for "HID" in the "Appearance & Detailing" and "Stereo & Electronics" Sections. Use "Advanced Search" to limmit the search.

Here is some of what I have found.....

There are a few ways to do this. The easiest is to get a conversion housing that fits in the stock headlights location. You can find it at http://www.autooptiks.com/front.htm. If I remeber correctly, low beam is 4703 and high beam is 4701. The housing will allow you to use more modern headlight bulbs like the Camaro instead of sealed beam headlights like the Firebird. At this point you can get Halogen bulbs or rebased HIDs and ballasts to put in the housing. Although this is possible, it wont produce the best beam pattern for HID.

Yeah, I too have been planning on switch my birds headlights to HIDS, however I don't have the funds right now. I wanted to replace the sealed lights with Sylvania SilverStars but they don't even make them for our cars. Thanks for the information VIP1, I'm looking at this site and looks like I could get everything here closest to getting the HID look I've always wanted.
Hey MyWS6, Post some pictures if you went along and bought the kit VIp1 Showed you. I want to see how sick your car will look after the light job.
