Default Bypassing ASR

How the hell do you bypass the ASR so it doesnt come on every time you turn the switch on?

SLP Sells a reversing switch. I have it and it works well. It plugs in and makes it so by default ASR is off when you start the car. Other than that I don't know.

you get edit it out with ls1 edit, or hp tuners

I always wondered what would happen if you simply
unplugged the TCS "brain" that is up under the dash.
I'm pretty sure it would defeat TCS but wonder
about whether the light would stay on or off, any
effect on ABS, etc.

My gut feeling is that GM would have made things
so that the ASR/non-ASR option was simply plug-in
and not any broader differences, so I think it would
"fail quiet" and just be like a non-ASR optioned car.

But that wants proving. Here, guinea, guinea pig....
