You have a supercharger, a (much too small) converter, but you don't know if you have traction control?

Wtf mate?

And how much power are you making with that superchager? A stroker probably isn't even a good idea unless you can properly feed it.

The reason I asked about it is because my car originally had a v6 and then i swaped to a ls1 engine. Oh, my converter is not too small this is what I wanted. I know I can feed the stroker because I have already upgraded the fuel system (42lb injectors and walbro pump)

Id just go with the rear, cuz you already have plenty of power with that S/C...

Get a new rear, before you kick yourself in your own rear for not getting one, when the thing breaks.

ur gonna need a bigger blower. stop messing with the tiny blowers and step up. it'd be a waste on a good motor

Oh, my converter is not too small this is what I wanted.
Why do you say this when 99% of the people here are going to say you are wrong?

Why bother asking for advice in the first place?

If you want to go fast, that converter is too small. Your rear end will probably last quite a while on street tires.

In fact, with street tires and an automatic with a tiny stall, there is no reason to upgrade your rear.

I never asked for advice about my converter. This is the one I felt was best for the type of driving that I do. I only asked for advice about the rear or the stroker. People will always something is wrong that you do because you did not do it there way. I want an opinion on what would be best for what I have and yes I use street tires on my car.

How much power are you wanting to make?

Without drag radials I imagine you spin to ~50 mph as it is, and it would only get worse with more power.

A 12 bolt will do you almost 0 good with street tires. You upgrade to a 12 bolt so you can run sticky tires, otherwise there is no point. I've never heard of an automatic breaking a 10 bolt with street tires, but then again I've never heard of a supercharged big cube LS1 that wanted to run street tires either.

Good point. I am running Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 275/35/18 in the rear and 245/40/17 in the front. If I were to take it to a track I would switch to some type of drag tire, but I normally just drive the car for fun. I am interested in if I were to take it to a track what would be the best option for me.
Thanks for all your input.

I would run a Moser 12 bolt. You should be just fine with 30 spline axles but I would go with the Aluminum cover.

Give me a ring and I will take care of you. You WILL get the best price from me.

If the best you want to put out back for rubber is "street tires" then you may as well just keep it as it is. Horsepower does not make cars fast. Getting torque to the ground does

Hey Husker SS I had the same questions a few months back. I still think it boils down to just knowing that sooner or later the 10bolt will break. I got the motor and just start saving for the rear end. By the way I was in Lincoln last weekend for the Kansas game. I'm a huge Husker fan and I will be back in November for Colorado. I know that you will probably have your car put up by then but I would love to see it.
