Default You won't beleive what my wife told me this weekend...

The stock clutch on my car is going to be replaced with a Z06 tomorrow. The wife and I were talking about how this unexpected repair was going to dip into our "fun" money. I told her that I was saving up to go to a race driving school, and that now I won't be able to. Then she said that she was planning on sending me to driving school in Nov for my birthday gift!! I was like, no way....and she said she was even talking to my mother about it.

HOLY CRAP, I can't beleive this. Going to racing school is a huge dream of mine, and now it's might be screwed because my clutch desided to **** on me.

You should have $400-$450 into the clutch install for parts (kit, slave, fluid, etc). Install it yourself with a couple friends and save the money for labor. I wouldn't think $400-$450 would put much of a dent in savings for a driving school. Good luck.

You need your own car for the driving school? For all the classes I took we drove Celicas and GS-Rs. I wish I had my T/A when I was in those classes.

Some you bring your own car. I'd prefer a place like Bondurant or something though.
