In 99 there was a medium blue available. It's pretty rare though.

Don't forget about Blue Green Chameleon/Mystic Teal, available from 98-01 (and from 95-97 on the LT1s)

The official name of the color is Navy Blue Metallic (NBM). The only blue offered for SS's. medium blue was available on Z28's and V6's. The guy was talking about NBM, probably trying to make it sound better.

BlaSSt is correct.

The actual paint name from GM is "Navy Blue Metallic", typically written as NBM. Medium Blue Metallic was only in '99 and was offered on both the Camaro and the Firebirds. Its a lighter blue, sometimes called "smurf blue"
