My story
It hasnt even been a week since i got my '04 GTO and im impressed although one thing that annoys me is that the '05 will be better and im stuck with mine. Mines only a lease and i have most likley one of the fastest cars around my city. Yesterday i was torn to bits by a cobra SVT. so im thinkin of getting a few mods and showin that guy whats up. now im only 17 so im runnin on a tight budget but i can work with about $3000 what are the best mods to give my car the extra horses to leave that cobra in my rear view? or willl i need more $?

when they say spray they mean nitrous! lol but you can get a nice cam, with some long tube headers, intake, and a few other stuff and you will smoke him. just do a search for whatever questions you have!

I can't afford one now, and I'm 24! LOL Well, technically I COULD afford one, but life would suck too bad to be able to put gas in her.
For $3k you can make your car beat that Cobra. Hit up a mild head/cam package, headers, pullies, and ported TB. That there equals one dead snake.

I see you have a new car. I dont know how you feel about spraying it. I been told 100 to 150 shot will be good for the stock engine. But it might cause some engine wear and may effect the engine longtivity after time. Its up to you. With your 3000 dollar budget you can get some good mods . Get a lid headers and exhaust thats should cost around 1000 i am not sure about gto exhaust. if you have a auto get a Stall 3500 our bigger with the stall and cooler and gauge it should be around 900 to 1000ish installed. And a TSP cam package will be great also you can get one for 699 comes with a cam pushrods and springs

One thing I just noticed is that your leasing it. You probably should check over the agreement from the dealer and see what kind of restrictions and regulations are on the lease agreement before you go tearing the engine apart.
I have heard horror stories about leased vehicles.

Personnaly, I would'nt put a dime in a lease car unless you know for sure you will buy it. Does'nt sound like you want to though.
I would only do a simple bolt on that is easily removable. If something happens under warrenty, you need to be able to remove it very quickly before you take it to the dealership.
I vote Nitrous.

or.......... get a dry nitrous kit, and when youre done replace whatever plastic part you tapped into. then its like nothing was ever there, so no worries from dealer. and you have a nitrous kit to use on your next ride.

a dry nitrous kit is the only smart choice, unless you want to spend alot of money for nothing

ok word of caution since i see you not the most familiar person with nitrous, and by that i don't meant to putt you down just what i gather thats all.
be carefull with the spray, if you melt the pistons you might have a hard time explaining to the dealer how that hapened. lol i could just see it now i swear sir the engine just melted it on it's own right in front of my eyes really sir it's the truth i swear. lol
