Hi everyone, I just bought a 98 z28 a4 about a month ago, and after i bought it was told that someone had used a hypertech on it. It seems that they upped the tranny line pressure a lot. Well I am about to install a converter and shift kit and I want the pcm set back to stock so i dont blow my tranny. Is there any way I can do this without paying the dealership or buying a hypertech?

You could have it adjusted. You may want to have it tuned for shift points with the new TC and if so they should be able to adjust the pressure as well.
