Well I have always heard to keep the gas tank as full as possible during storage. I also put some baking soda in a small jar to absorb moisture and smell inside the car along with some mothballs UNDER the car to keep rodents away.

I picked up a rodent repellor(works on frequency).
Sounds like BS but I had rats in one of my college apts
and then plugged one in and never saw another one, so
it should work good in a small garage.
You may also want to park on some plywood or old carpetting
to absurb moisture.
I don't think you want to have the tank to empty or mix the stabile
to rich cause its suppose to be harsh on injectors.

The person that left the car said that she did not want the car driven, unless absolutely necessary. Stupid, I know. I live in an apartment building and she did not want even to shell out the $25 a month to pay for indoor parking or money for a good cover. Right now the car is just sitting outside. I just want to make sure nothing mechanical goes wrong with it. Tires are going to be her problem. Thanks for all the input. I will definitely do the baking soda in the interior since it is always moist where I live. I will put up the instructions for the Sta-bil tomorrow morning so you guys can see what it says.

hey guys, im storing my car for the winter, its outside though under a big tent, with a car cover and a tarp. but the car will be in a driveway and its slanted down pretty good. IT will be there from the nov 1st to April or may of next year. I have a trickle charger for the battery, but i cant remove the tires, are they gonna be ok? they are new. Anything else im missing. i know you should keep the gas tank full, and put stabilizer in it.

92SilverSHO, I have been storing my cars outside in cold harsh MI winters for 5 years and I have never had a battery problem or any issues with flat spots on the tires. Don't get me wrong the trickle charger is just fine to use....I just don't have one. You say the driveway is slanted so you may want to get some type of wheel choke and gently roll the car back on the chokes to relieve the stress off the drivetrain and put the car in park. Edit- I see you are a 6 speed so my above directions may not apply. But I kina question keeping the parking brake applied over winter months....just a thought
