Default Pictures of my Broken Tranny Mount :O

Ok..I finally got my Prothane Tranny Mount in from LMPerformace, great company, they got that shipped out to me in 2 days...and i went to install it today..and you should see what the old one looked like!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do they usually look this mest up...when you take them off.. I figured there was a minor tear...but this thing was completely in 2 pieces, and by the marks it doesn't look like its usually in two pieces.

Looks like some heat damage to me honestly and with 86,000 miles it could look like that (86,000 is not a lot btw)

who knows...what happened, but to be honest...i knew it was broke about a month ago..cuz i could feel the transmission hoppen when i jammed on the gas and i let it slide for a month til it got really bad "aka this week" So i decided to replace it..so I'm guessin me driving on it..for 30 days...could of caused it to be as torn up as it is..Cause to be honest im not that hard on the car...some occasional burnouts...occasional races is all...no crazy ****.

mine was worse , it literally came off in about 3 or 4 pieces . you can see the scrapping on the floor board from where the tranny used to bang. i replaced all my mounts with poly ones.

Yeah, my tranny mount in my old LT1 broke in 2 just like yours. It broke as I took off at traffic lights and I thought the driveshaft had broken and was tryin to get into the car thru the floor, it made such a racket . Dunno how you managed to listen to the hammering on the floor for 30 days. I drove mine for a few days until the new mount arrived and I had to move off real easy to stop the tranny banging (tranny banging?..sounds illegal )

Right now my car is at the shop Had a little issue with hydroplaning on a notoriously bad road in Irving and a disagreement with a stop sign. Oh well. Passanger side is all messed up.

When she gets back I need to replace my tranny mount & tq arm mount, I think i've either torn 'em both in half or stripped 'em. They've been bangin a bit for about a month, just haven't had any time to fix 'em. Now I don't even have the car Your mount up there looks just like the one I took off my old Formy WS6 A4. Torn straight in half. She drives much better now huh? LOL.

mine was in two pieces like that also. when mine went, it felt like my rear end was going out, i felt alot of bopping around, especiall when i made right turns. i thought the diff. was fried lol. i let it slide for about 2 months and started shopping for rear ends. then i came to the board and read lol. 75$ < 2100$

i've been thinking about changing my motor mounts, and maby just my driver side one to a poly mount.
