over 5k in the motor. then theres the spec 3, aluminum flywheel, injectors, tubular k-member, yada, yada, yada

when its said and done will be in the 10k range.

I dont know very much about the internals of motors so since we have pics here are you talking about the half moon looking area being gone? Also is all the black stuff bad or is that normal.

Also what could have caused that?

if your refering to the oil pressure sending unit i broke that off pulling the motor.

i did find out though that my o-ring was missing a 1/4 chunk out of it though...

this is the reason for the new motor. i checked everything short of disassembling the bottom end and nada.

Yeah that didnt sound good. Kinda sucks you couldnt find out what was wrong. Im sure the new motor will be much better tho
