Amsoil oil change intervals??
I know oil is a subject that usuall gets beat to death but imma ask anyway
My question is what weight do I need to use in a 99 TA(NC weather and normal driving...no racing) and how often should it be changed? I talked to a Amsoil dealer and he said one of the oils is good up to 35,000 miles How often should the filter be changed?

Their 5w30 (not the XL7500 series) or their 0w30 will work well for you. You can easily go 6k or more. Oil analysis is the best way to determine your best OCI for your driving situation though. 35k is a big stretch though, only under pure ideal conditions is it possible.

The long K&N filter for the f-body LS1 is the HP2006. You don't need to change the filter halfway through the interval unless you're going to go beyond 15,000 miles. It should have no problem lasting that long.
