well the current cam is ok for ptov but im getting the fm14 232-234 112lsa. that biatch is gonna sounds sweet. so ill have to recheck everything

since the motors almost readey too take out of the car, I feel like buyin a forged short block. my fiance~ would put my nuts in a fryiing pan

Sounds like you are about to start having fun. I suppose in a vette the motor HAS to come out?

nope. i can slide the cam 7/8 out , then i just move the AC condensor back alittle. then the cam will come out

My friend said his was kinda difficult with the steering setup running in front of the engine.

yup, thats next to pull the steering rack out. one 13mm bolt on the shaft to the sterring wheel . then four bolts holding that rack in place. then slide it out of the way through the left hand wheel well. not to hard, but it gets messy with the steering fluid coming out of the rack

i got the front up on 2- 3ton jackstands. the back i have resting on a bunch of 2X12's.
