i've read a thousand posts with people just keeping the factory hurst, adding a short stick, and being perfectly pleased with the shifts. this eliminates the rubber isolator as well as shortens the shift. i know how well the pro 5.0 shifts, there's one in my driveway. i was saying, if you have the factory hurst, try it out with a shortstick, you may love it and save 180$, that seemed to be the general consensus in the research i did before buying the pro 5.0, but i never had the hurst in the first place.
