Mileage ? Yeah I heard ls1's start breaking down around 60K, and lt1's last for a LONG time, myabe around 125K.
Please tell me that I won't have my car last logner then 60K.

Re: Mileage ? Never heard anything about LS1s breaking down unless you beat it up really really good. Are you talking about stock cars or are you talking about modified drag racing ones. For both the LS1 seems to take a great beating and wont stop. And nobody likes the LT1. Just try to change sparks plugs on one.

Honestly, I believe that both the LT1 and LS1 will prove themselves to be durable engines. The reason you see more high mileage LT1s right now is simply because they've been around longer. But I believe in the next ten years we'll see quite a few LS1s reach the 250k mark.
