Default LS6 or SC?

Ok guys help me out!
I have located a LS6 engine with about 80k miles on it. It is in a totaled Z06 at a junkyard. I have convinced the owner to sell it to me for $5000 . I am not sure if i should get the engine or a new Supercharger (ATI 's PSC-1 w/ intercooler). Which would be better for my 00 Z28. My engine is fairly new with only 28k miles on it.

OR you can buy an LS1 motor from newer model F-Bodies that has the LS6 block and then have heads/cam work done on it. That's what I would do.

I'd have to say the supercharger. ATI makes a great one!

i still say buy a newer LS1 off ebay from a totalled car and work on it. I see more power coming from it like that. but theres another cool part to it. after you build up the motor like that, then you can blow it too.

I'd like to be bored and stroked, then blown.

Definitely Supercharger! You'll make way more power with a supercharged LS1 than with a stock LS6.
