It is just the bulb. You need to get under the car and remove the air dam. After that you should able to reach the bulbs. It is a PITA.

or you can try and squeeze your hand in the air duct below the lamp if your hand is small enough. it worked once - good luck

It's an 880

I got tired of trying to do it from underneath so I just scratched my arm up and came through the top.

Its an 880 although I use 893's. You don't have to remove the whole air dam. Best bet is to get underneeth and pull it back and squeeze it up in there. I'm not sure how you'd do if from the top, never tried.

Aren't the 893's higher wattage? I've heard too many experiences of high watt bulbs melting factory housings to do that.

What I'm going to do sometime is upgrade the housings, and that way I can run brighter bulbs. I have heard too many stories about melting the housings to run anything other than stock.

They are 38 watt bulbs with the metal coating on the tip to prevent melting. 894's don't have the tip. I've had 893's for years and they have never melted. I recomend the switch, they are actually usefull now

If I had a screwdriver with me in the walmart parking lot I was at I probably would've done that lol... I was just pissed that my lamps went out... cuz in my opinion they add character to the car too
