Default bmg ram air or free mod or both?

just wondering if performing free mod by cutting open under filter from my ws6 induction and installing bmg ram air kit would it greatly improve with both done or would I get same perf. improvement if I cut away bottom baffle or bmg ram air kit? or vise verse? which would give me better hp gain if only one or the other was done?

thanks

hey cowboysfan whats up? I have not had any experience with a purchased ram air mod, but when I did the free RA I could DEFINETELY feel a significant gain all over my power spectrum. Off the line became off the hook! hehe good luck whatever you decide!

doing the FRA will make the BGRA non functional. the BGRA completely seals the air box to the WS6 hood. The FRA would unseal the box. Go BGRA, it's more better.

the bgra is a great mod...but you cannot do any of the other intake mods like ftra, or any cold-air induction

sorry it took long to respond.
would one give me better hp, then the other? or would both be beneficial? I mean one (BGRA) would be forced "RAMAIR" right ! where the other is sucking air from bottom. personally I like the bgra cause it gives it the nostril open look. like a bull getting ready to charge. what do ya'll think?

Well i have the bgra and i think it works great. The other free mod brings the air right past the radiator which doesnt seem like the best idea.I have hp tuners and with the bgra my IAT sensor stays within a degree or two of what it is outside. Its the best it gets when it comes to hooking up a ws6 with ram/cold air.its worth every penny.

i vote for BGRA or seal it up yourself, i did the FRA and then felt like i should to "undo it" when i took out the baffles from the hood and sealed it up.

If you go to BGRA web page I am the one that wrote him about how good his mod is. If I was to get another Ram Air that would be the first mod that I would do. It is simply awesome.

damn, I was thinking the bgra was a little pricey....but I think you guys sold me on it. Some people think that rain water getting in there is possible, others don't. Don't they have a rain shield or something you can buy for it? would that be worth getting as well?

there is a rain blocking plate u can get with it for $20 more. BGRA will be the next mod i do cause i thought it would make more sense to get a lid and filter before it. u think it would be possible for a group purchase on the bgra? it does seem a little pricey.
