So I got some quotes online from All State and State Farm but this time I included my mom on the quote. The camaro would be under her name as a pleasure vehicle and I'd have her 2001 Honda as a Work/School car. It varied between $3k and $6k/ year for the both of them

That quote is completely ridiculous. When I was 18 I had a 98 Firebird and my insurance was like $1500 a year. And that's in CA where everything here is expensive. I had a ticket too at the time but I went to the driving school so it was technically removed. Thats gay. I had Progressive at 1 point and they didnt seem that bad to me. I would get another quote. Cause when I was 21 I got my 02 WS6 and I had AAA and they wanted like $360 a month. Then Progressive wanted $180 /mo. Hmmmm...shop around. There is something weird they are doing? Like what deductible are you asking for? Make sure they arent just adding gay options you really dont need. Make sure they arent jacking your coverage rates way high with out telling you. Atleast get double what is standard to the state you live in. Im with AAA right now and I have 3x standard coverage and some other amenities and I only pay $150 a month. Im 24 now with a WS6 . And I have had 2 speeding tickets. (both are on my record , but technically removed). I think they are trying to screw you personally.
