Default out of cash..now what???

I was doing so good saving up all my pennies for my heads/cam setup. I had almost 2gs saved and then i spend a little over 1 grand on my girls bday present (vacation to baja for the two of us) that she is going to love. Now i have just barely over 400 left

just wondering what my next purchase should be now that im almost drained. I know 400 isnt much of anything but im itchin to buy something just not sure what would be a good next mod.

Im currently running Pacesetter LT's, TSP TD's, lid, adj. phb, lca's, stb, and uhh...i think thats all. Any advice? opinions? should i just get a cam for now? help me decide!!

Try some SFCs, or a dyno tune (if you're set on getting a cam wait till after you get that in)
Or just save some more and get the heads and cam package

Maybe ASP pulley, SSRA, and a ported TB? that will probley be over 400 bucks though. Sounds like a hell of a trip, have a good time!

LS6 intake
Pullies
Ported TB
CAI

Take your pick, mix and match if you like.

You plan heads/cam when you have the money? What tranny do you have? If you have an auto you still need a converter. If you have an M6 what about clutch/gears?

Start buying parts for the cam setup. Thats how i did mine, if you spend $200 here, and there, it doesnt seem like as much, until you sit and think about it.

my tranny is an m6.

would the ls6 intake even be worth much on a mild bolt on car such as mine? wouldnt that intake respond better with a cam installed? i was thinking of going with a 90/90 setup after my heads/cam so im not sure if i want to drop the 400 on the ls6 and then lose cash on it when i step up to a 90/90 later.

this is torture damnit!! i cant believe i was so close and now im so far

How long till you plan to run the 90/90? Unless you are going to wait until you can afford heads/cam/90 lsx combo all at once, you will want an LS6 intake. LS1 intake will choke a heads/cam setup a little bit.

N2O...best bang for the buck. Used set ups sell for around $500, so go check the classifieds!

Do all the free mods if you have not done those like the maf ends and port your own tb.

Also start looking in the for sale section you can get some good deals if you look around.

Keep saving for the H/C. If you spend that last $400, you will be that much farther from having the money you need for a the h/c/lsx
