Default RPMs...

At how many rpms do yall shift at when racing and just daily driven.

dont know what type of answers your expecting as they'll run the gammit with the multitude of different setups people are running.

For daily driving I shift between 2k-3k rpms and when racing I shift closer to 6k rpms.

2-3k for normal driving. 6500 when racing.

IMO for daily driving just shift were you feel comfortable , know what I mean .. I go about 2500 just listening to the revv

i've an A4, with a 3600 stall..
also let the car shift between 2k-3k when normal driving

and well.. never below 3600 rpm when racing

RPM's are going to vary based on setup. I'd shift a stock LS1 at 5800-6000 RPM. I'd shift a heads/cam car closer to 7K RPM. It all depends on where your combination makes power.

BTW i shift at 14K rpm's when racing and about 6K when daily driving.

lol he was talking about his R6. I would die to see an LS1 that could shift at 14,000 before going into meltdown.

But back on topic, i shift at around 6k when racing. Normal driving i shift when i feel i need to, listening to the car, which is usually around 2500.

I baby my car under normal driving conditions, I usually shift anywhere between 1800-2500, sometimes 3k when I wanna hear my Loudmouth When Im racing I shift about 5700.
