Default Thinking of selling the SS?

I have been considering selling my SS, I have no idea what to ask for it?
I know I will never recover all of the money I have put in the car by a long shot. What would be a realistic asking price for the car?

The car has less than 2000 miles after all mods have been done, the motor and trans are all brand new, It pulled 570 RWHP and just under 500 RWTQ.

Thanks for your help!

I have owned approx. 30 first gens and a few second gens before building this car. I miss the older Camaros, I have had two 69 Indy pace cars, two 69 Z/28s, one of them a 34,000 original mile car. My favorite was an all original 69 RS/SS 350 4 speed, hugger orange with very rare original orange houndstooth interior and extremely well optioned. You get the picture, the 69 Camaros are in my blood and I want another one.

Hers a few pictures of my RS/SS I sold a couple of years back...

I think you will end up missing that one after not too long too, I say its not worth the little extra money you may recover from selling a car you love. Even if you love another car more...

That is a beautiful car man, I would never get rid of that bad boy. But if you do sell it you will be taking a decent loss. I am guessing if you find the right buyer you can get over 25k for it. Maybe ask 27k? I dont know for sure though, just throwing something out for you.

not only that, but im sure you put a significant amount of money in that car, in which you wont get any of it back if you sell the car. Cars never go up in value, they only depreciate. If its paid off, that would be even more of an incentive to keep it. just my .02

Sell off your mods then sell the car stock. You will get a lot more of your money back that way.

Parting it out does seem to get people more money, for the most part. However, putting that car back to stock and selling the parts would be a real PITA to try.

Unfortunately most people don't want to pay much for modded cars, and rightfully so. I wouldn't feel very safe buying my car from me, because I wouldn't trust me on how it was taken care of.

69 Camaros only go up in value, no matter what you put into them they will
still make you money. Building this car was not the smartest decision I have made but I didnt build it to make money like the older cars.

Im pulled both ways about letting it go, thanks for your thoughts guys.

Reasonably priced would be $20,000-$22,500. Are you still on the stock bottom end?

I know, just saying how the market is on 69 Camaros compared to the newer ones. I payed top dollar for a few of my 69s and thought I would never get my money back, I made good money on all of them.

Wow man that is a shocker but I understand. I have two neighbor with 69 camaros. 1 is white with black strips and the other is black with white strips. Looks kind of strange when they are both out getting washed on the weekends.
