The magnaflow is a nice CB friend of mine has one, sounds good and good flow. You all ready have a ls6 intake. What kind of LT's were you looking at? Sound like a good start.

I have the magnaflow catback on right now along with LT's and an off road y pipe. I love the sound, its also pretty loud, but not an annoying loud. So thats definitly a nice setup that you are going to get - good choice

Personally I would go with a catted y pipe. You only lose 3-5rwhp, and I like being able to pass emissions. You might not care, or might not live in an area that has emissions though.

Hey did that exh/y/LT net ya some good gains???

I don't think the kind of long tubes make a diff. I have heard lots of good things about Hooker/Kooks. I will get a matching Y and then tune time.

Any tips for the combo etc???

I went with the Pacesetters and TSP ORY. It really woke the car up as well, I felt a pretty big difference in power.

So, I have decided on my mods:

Hooker Ceramic coated Long Tubes
Hooker Off-Road Y Pipe
magnaflow catback exhaust
SLP Lid w/ K&N Filter
LS1 Edit Dyno Tune

Guy says the cut-out doesn't add much HP??? Oh well. Might add a Raptor shift light as well.

Tell me what ya guys think. He's trying to convince me to go Catted Y, I just love the sound of the off-road, a little more horsies too!!

If I remember a cutout is only worth a couple hp over the magnaflow. Also go with the ory it just sounds so badass, you will love it .

Should be a good setup. SLP dua/dual, hooker and magnaflow are the three relatively quiet, rasp free, affordable cat-backs that sound good even without running cats. You shouldn't need a cutout for power, the magnaflow will be plenty adequate.

Other good early mods include removing cags, new shifter, subframe connectors, clutch/rear end/drag radials and then a cam.
