Without knowing anything about your car it is impossible to say. That may be really good and it may be really bad.

My 99 gets about 16 - 18 around town and about 26 - 28 on highway.
My 67 gets about 5 around town and about 7 on the highway.

Well the only mods that are done to it are the K&N Air Filter, Denso Spark Plugs tower strut bar, gutted out air lid (stock air lid with the inside baffles cut off) thats all that i know of right now , i have only owned my car for a week and a few days, so i'm learnign all of the cars tricks it sucks when you dont know your own baby, but im gettin there, i'll be replacing the oil with some royal purple and getting a new oil filter , my mods are slow cuss of all my money is goin into the payments for the car, oh it also has a flowmaster muffler (ONLY muffler) with the rest of the exaust being the standard small size, oh yeah its a A4 2000 Z28

Once you finish exploring the power and performance your new LS1 provides you will probably get better mileage.

I got 17-18 (and worse) mpg's, but now I've average out in the 20.1-20.9 mpg's most of the time. I've gotten as much as 26.
