You probably heard about them coming off the line with LS6 blocks...yes its true...but all LS1's got the same came from the factory.
Read JRP's stickies up top and you will feel like you went to college for LS1's. LOL

Even if they did come with 'corvette cams', it wouldn't mean anything anyway. That's why we modify.

Some of the earlier ls1 cars supposedly did come with corvette cams, but the 98-00 cars had a larger cam then the 01 02 cars which helped even out the ls6 intake in the 01 02 cars

An LS1 is an LS1 is an LS1.....if that tells you anything about the cam differences for a given year....

I dont think we would be talking about putting a corvette cam into a corvette as they come from the factory stock..lol.....I read the post..I meant just because its a corvette cam doesnt mean he will see massive increases over the z28/ta cam...it would be better IMHO to research and decide what cam is best for the performance he has in mind for his car..I simply meant just because its a corvette cam doesnt mean its the best for his application....some people make that assumption.....and i never said anything about a z06 cam...I believe you mentioned the Z06 cam if im correct....why does everything have to be taken to an extreme..it was a simple comment...geez....smartasses.....

Im not saying that a corvette cam would be better or worse, i just wanted to see if what i heard was true or just a bunch of

I said MY cam was a step above a Z06 cam in duration. Don't quote my post if you don't want a reply.

Nah man. If they ran out of Camaro cams they would just use Firebird cams.

I'm just kidding. It doesnt matter if they did use vette cams in some F-bodies. They wont be any faster. Unless your referring to the LS6 cam from the Z06 corvette. That cam was not used in anything but the Z06.

*or the CTS-V* (has the LS6 engine)
