Yeah it seems like Im gonna have to fly wherever then drive it alll the way home. For those of you that have gone that route, what kinda of arrangements/terms etc did you talk about and come to agreement on with the dealership?

About 450 miles round trip for me (did it 2 times, once to look and negotiate and second time to pick up). I would not have driven that far except the deal was really good. Looked for 6 months for exactly what I wanted. At that time I had not found anything local I couldn't live without for the prices they wanted.

about 250 miles to Houston to get one, although going there was a pain..driving back at night with a new LS1 under the hood = ha. Had to work all of my 2nd semester of senior year practically non stop and through Spring Break, but hey it was worth it.

Dumped my girlfriend, quite smoking crack, stopped doing X (no gf anymore anyway), dropped out of school, started only eating cereal, and lost weight to go faster....

22 miles north of my house, Oct 4th 2000 when I ordered it, and went back there Nov 17th 2000 to pick it up and take it home to clean it.

Been an expensive modding love affair ever since.

Have to cross the atlantic, because you donīt get LS1 F-Bodys here in Germany

But for these cars is no distance too far

I drove 2800 mi. I flew from Los Angeles,Ca to Richmond Virginia and drove my 99 Chevy SS all the way back to California. It took me 39 hrs straight and only stopped to **** and fill up the tank. Did it all with the help of ciggarettes , Redbull ,and Nodoz pills I saw the car on ebay and it was love at first sight. I took Route 66 almost all the way back and smoked a 'stang while driving through St. Louis. It was to say the least an unforgetable trip that I enjoyed and hated at the same time.

Drove across town 15 minutes because I settled for an automatic. Had I been patient and waited for a 6 speed, some driving might have been necessary.
