For a purely performance gain get the converter. Converter, shift kit, trans cooler, trans temp gauge, some basic PCM editing of shift points, subframe connectors and drag radials. Will be a night and day difference.

The gears are not nearly as important as the converter, so if you can't get the gears yet don't sweat it as they won't net more than anyway 0.15.
I did my headers/duals before converter cause I was all about the awsome sound, but the converter is a much bigger SOTP difference.
