Disconnecting battery + Computer tune Ques.
I have a tune on my car (Ls1 Edit), if I disconnect the battery, will that hurt anything? Or is the tune in the computer forever. Maybe a dumb question...Hmmm.
Thx
Just wonderin for when its time to store my car for the winter.

Well the tune is not in the computer forever so to speak, but disconnecting the battery will not mess up the tune. The car will have to relearn the settings again but the tune is there to stay until someone goes into the computer again with tuning software and changes it.
Basically it will run fine, but will take about 100-200 miles to run it's best. My car is pretty noticable after you disconect the battery. It doesn't hold idle as well, has more surging, and just doesn't drive as nice all around. But it's only been 60 miles and it's running about as good as I ever remember it.
